Thank you very much for the well wishes. I have just this morning returned from my truncated vacation in the Philippines. I had an awesome time in the Islands.

Actually,on one island.

Right around the time of my physical birthday, I realized that the Philippines are kind of a cross between the Farcry video game and Dr. No's island of doom from that most excellent motion picture, Dr No.

It's actually more like "The Man With The Golden Gun", with Herve ("Tattoo") Villechez as the evil little henchmen and Christopher Lee as Francesco Scaramanga (aka The Man With The Golden Gun); and his evil leir. It's a fine Roger Moore Bond. Filmed in and around the islands of Phuket.

It's so very commercialized and touristy there now that there's just no room for evil genius fun.

The Philippines however .....
